The Grand Egyptian Museum has the whole world waiting for what promises to be one of the most important museums ever built, and definitely the biggest dedicated to the heritage of the Ancient Egyptian Civilization. In the latest teasers to the opening, Tourism Minster Rania Al-Mashat announced that King Tut's tomb and belongings will be on display in the GEM through hologram technology by the end of next year.
The sophisticated technology will reveal King Tut's mask as well as belongings that have never been shown since his tomb's discovery in 1922. While the GEM will have entire galleries dedicated to showing the king's lifestyle and how he lived, along with a collection of his belongings, this hologram display promises to be something else.
