Egypt has been seeing an influx of tourists over the past few years, and to accommodate those numbers, newer airports are being commissioned all over the country. Earlier this year, Sphinx Airport ran its maiden voyage and it was also announced that the new Administrative Capital airport is expected to come to life pretty soon. Now, sources claim that Marsa Alam’s Berenice International Airport is expected to open this summer.

The new airport reportedly cost half a billion pounds, and will make life much easier for tourists coming in from different countries. It'll also help, specifically, those coming in on new flight routes established between Marsa Alam and Italy.
