There's an art to picking the perfect location for a hotel – is it close to transportation? Close to attractions? Does it have a killer view?

Hospitality giant Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts may have hit a jackpot with their latest hotel in Egypt, which is set to open this week. The new hotel will have the Giza Pyramids as a stunning view, and it's also conveniently located close to the Grand Egyptian Museum, which is set to open some time next year.

The resort features 132 stylishly furnished rooms and suites, and they'll be equipped with state-of-the-art fittings and amenities. There's also a pool facility and an excellent selection of restaurants and bars. “We are delighted to be able to launch a further urban resort under the Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts brand at such a unique location,” said Deutsche Hospitality ́s CEO Thomas Willms. “Our brand has a deep and long-lasting relationship with Egypt as we are running hotels here for decades. The Steigenberger Pyramids Cairo is our twelfth hotel in Egypt, and we are looking forward to the next ones,” he added.
